Combinations of the HES TRIO EVI (WR30) group

  • The HES TRIO EVI (WR) group – twin units: are equipped with two independent cooling loops: a chilled water loop and an air- or water-cooled direct expansion loop. Typically, such a unit is used when there is a source of chilled water that does not guarantee continuous service. In this case, functional priority is given to the chilled water loop.
  • The control system automatically switches to direct expansion if the chilled water source fails or if water is not cold enough to dissipate the entire heat load. Alternatively, the unit control can be set to direct expansion priority and chilled water operation mode is only selected when the compressor is faulty. As a result, the twin units guarantee a very high level of safety, keeping the entire system running smoothly at all times and providing the flexibility to manage the air conditioner resources optimally for a particular installation.
